I did not want this book to end because I know the next book doesn’t come out for like just under a year and it was just so good. I genuinely loved the growth of all the characters and being able to see more of their personalities. I’m very curious what’s gonna happen with Enisca and how Ben is going to do after going his own way.
Also seeing Mary kinda lose her mind and go beast mode after being captured my the navy was 10/10. Always love moments when Mary shows her true powers and how her and Tane work together
“I gave a breathless, hitching laugh as a fifth and sixth cyclone surged towards the sky, water chasing wind and bearing a moaning deluge of hail. The sky was my cathedral and the cyclones its pillars, surrounded by fog blooming with muzzle flashes and fire, and a bruised backdrop of indolent daylight.”
