This is my first official book of the year and OMG Im so proud of myself.
Ive been trying to read this book for years, but every time I fell sleep, I couldn't get pass the first 3 pages.
Im so glad I keep trying, bc I really enjoyed this story, it was pretty different from what i was expecting, i though this was going to be about aliens and monsters, war zones and the invading us killing them trope, but it was one hell of a ride through the human brain.
Dont get me wrong, it is indeed a Scifi story, but It deals with human emotions and decisions taken under really hard situations, thats all Im going to say without spoiling it.
I love books that treat the "human in the wild" topic, specially when its as well done as this one.
Introspection, hidden fears, ego and much more aspects of "being". This was definitely an amazing book, thanks past me for not quitting on it.
