I just floved this series and was stoked that Chloe got her chance to use the Recipe for Love cookbook like her sister Gabby did in A Dash of Desire, although Chloe is not only not looking for love nor wanting to participate in the baking show the Luxe Resort is hosting but well fate does her own thing! I really felt for Chloe, not only does she live under the shadow of her family name but feels she is second choice in life and family, but boy does she have grit and determination which she will need to balance everything that will come at her. Gage also has a family legacy and this baking show is his last chance to either save his family store or it closes as his mother won't budge on the changes he wants to make, she wants to live in the past. You are kept guessing if Gage and Chloe can have both a growing relationship as well as still be competitive, but things are not all that they seem with the competition either so there is plenty to keep turning the page to not only see if Gage and Chloe will get their HEA but who will win the competition!!
