Would you want your loved one to leave you letters to read after they pass?
When I watched the movie inspired from the first book, I thought I wanted that. But I never thought a out how those words might haunt you if you were not allowed to put them away.
This book takes place 8 years after Jerry’s death. Holly has moved on and is dating a new man. She is keeping busy but finds herself thrown right back to the days when she was losing Jerry and then the year after he was gone.
It is not an easy story and there were several times where I had to stop because watching these people come to grips with their mortality was hard.
Holly has to wade back through all of her grief and what she needs now. It’s a well written story
