Harper Abbott’s reputation has never been worse. The one time she tries to be spontaneous ends with her and her two best friends getting arrested for a prank gone wrong. Now, her cheating ex and his new girlfriend are on a mission to ruin her fledgling career as a fashion designer. Wes Holden, guitarist for Altas Oaks, was pleasantly surprised to find out the charity date he was wrangled into was won by Harper, the woman he’d been quietly into for years. When he hears about the trouble she’s facing, he has the perfect solution: they should get married. His band needs a distraction in the media, and he could help her designs get more exposure. With another leap of spontaneity, Harper agrees and is thrown into the limelight. Soon, what started as a mutually beneficial fake agreement starts to become more, and Wes finds himself working to convince her to give them a shot while Harper struggles to keep the full truth of her breakup—and its repercussions—under wraps.

"I can be a feminist and still want my husband to own my p*ssy"

    ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Morgan Elizabeth did such an amazing job with this book. Harper and Wes' story was truly one of the best ones I've read in a while. I literally couldn't get enough of them. They were so addictive from the very beginning. Elizabeth did a wonderful job at instantly engaging me into this story and I would go to say this is by far one of my favorite works by her.

Harper is a badass who starts discovering her worth throughout this book. From the beginning, you can see her true colors come to light starting with her deciding to take a risk and get some petty revenge on her ex. While said decision, led to many challenges for her I love how she didn't let any of them fully bring her down and how she kept on fighting. Harper is the definition of a warrior and the type of woman you want on your side at all times. She takes care of her own and is the truest example of ride or die. I loved seeing her flourish in this book.

Now Wes.... can someone point me to a Wes please? I need this type of man in my life. Why are these men so hard to find IRL? It's so unfair. Wes is the man you want by your side because you know he will never stop fighting for you and will always put you first. I had a blast seeing Wes doing his absolute best to woo Harper and help her realize her true worth. IY'all the way I was pining after this man was no joke. Wes is one of a kind if you ask me.

Never Been Worse was by top read of the month and deserves every bit of praise. It had the perfect balance of spice, romance, found family, and petty revenge that anyone could ask for. I definitely recommend it for anyone who is even remotely interested in reading it because I swear you won't regret it.
