Before reading, I realized that this is actually a sequel to the “love in fairwick falls” series, so I ended up buying the first book “Accidentally In Bloom” and ended up reading that first (and thoroughly enjoyed it) and then read this one!
I’m glad I read the books in order, but I do think that you could still read the books as a stand alone if you prefer.

This was such a good read! Right off the bat I thought Violets love of plants was so cute. Her little tips and tricks to help keep her plant babies alive actually taught me a few things!
I thought it was nice that Violet was plus sized. As a fellow plus sized girlie I felt that Violets fears and anxieties were accurate and relatable..(at least for me) and I loved that she was told to be exactly as she was, not change a thing about herself, and that yes she IS allowed to take up space. It felt very empowering!

Jack was so swoon worthy and he sure has a way with this words! His love for his cat was also really adorable!

Both Violet and Jack have such growth in this book. It was really nice to see!

Overall if you’re wanting to read a book with fake dating, a hot British actor and a cozy small town.. this is the book for you! Highly recommend!
