Fantasy romance books from before the coining of Romantasy.

A collection of older, lesser-known, fantasy (or science fantasy) books written by incredible women. In a time when female fantasy authors were few and far between, these authors carved out their own space in the genre. These stories might not be mainstream hits today, but they are full of brilliant magic, deep characters, and/or worlds that helped shape the genre. (First in Series / standalones only for now - open to suggestions!)

A hodge podge collection from different genres of series that are interconnected standalones. In this list, you'll only find the first book that introduce each series. Books in interconnected standalones usually have contained stories but share lore throughout the series or might have an overarching plot that is shared by the characters in each book. Do recommend any you can think of as I want to max out the 100 book capacity allowed here.
