Recs if you like Scattered All Over the Earth...

also known as “cozy catastrophes,” these are books that deal with a post-apocalyptic and/or dystopian world but are still hopeful, uplifting, or just leave you with more of a postive feeling!

Pieces of fiction with language, linguistics, and communication as themes. I saw some non-fiction lists on this topic, so wanted to add a fiction one as well, as they're really interesting ideas to explore

sunny settings, or books that feel sunny and offer escapism from the winter blues in an eclectic blend of genres.

Editing to add: okay some of these books are SAD, my dudes, just like my seasonal affective disorder. But at the same time, they are soft and kind and a safe place for the big sad, if that makes sense?
