I wanted to read a Spider-Man comic, so my cousin, who is an acid comic reader and artist, suggested this one. I do eventually want to get to Miles Morales comics, but I figure my first time reading Spider-Man, I should start with Peter Parker!

Issue 001 - Read 4/24/18 - 3 stars - Just a rehashing of the Spider-Man origin story we all know. Maybe all Spider-Man comics start with this storyline, since it's his origin, but I just felt like I couldn't give it a higher rating because I've seen it done already. I'm sure it'll be more exciting when I get into new territory!

Issue 002 - Read 4/24/18 - 4 stars- Something new! And an appearance from Doc Ock! I liked that. He's one of my all-time favorite Spidey villains, so I'm excited to see where this all goes!

Issue 003 - Read 4/24/18 - 4 stars - Interesting origin for how he got the Spider-Man suit. Not something I would have expected, and honestly, I'm not sure how I feel about it. But I'm still enjoying this a lot so far.
