Recs if you like Cunning Folk: Life in the Era of Practical Magic...

Just because I don’t actually believe in the supernatural, that doesn’t mean I don’t love it! These are books that look at why humans love to tell stories about ghosts and magic and about the true histories that are often lurking just under the tourist-friendly ghost story.

Inspired by Florence + The Machine's new album

There’s a witch in you. Magical cunning woman. Innocent victim blamed. Be it folklore, history, fantasy, or dangerous injustice - pick up a book and tell your inner witch a devilishly good tale…

turns out when you wanna write a book, you have to read a lot of books first. wild.

A collection of actually interesting non-fiction reads. Spanning from biographies to historical essays, poetry & more.
