Trin is back home to help her sister Vic who is starting back as a fire fighter care for her Dad after years away as a successful journalist, not only that but she is living in their family home with her sister and Dad but also with her 14yo son Tucker. Trin is finding her feet being back home as well as the emotional toll no seeing her Dads deterioration and then Tucker going through a tough time at school along with entering the teenage years and as much as doesn't think she has time for anything else Bodhi's persistence starts paying off. You get not only a chance at love, but also dealing with changing family dynamics, a mystery as to who the car from the river belongs to which leads Trin on a path of danger, meeting new friends, plenty of emotions and a page turner of a book.
FYI I loved how we got to know Vic as well as that lady has some great sass to her and hope she gets a book too just like many of the others who work at Station 3 with her and Bohdi.
