Recs if you like The Trident and the Pearl...

Just a list of books coming out in 2026 that I’m really excited for :) it will be updated as the months go by! It will be a mix of: high fantasy, romance fantasy, sci-fi, gothic, horror, lit fic, historical fiction, retellings, poetry, romance, & more!!

next up in the series is Ell Potter! they have a wide range, from litfic to romance to thrillers to cozy fantasy. named one of audible’s break out stars, Ell has a soothing voice and their cadence just scratches an itch in my brain in the best way. Like my last list, I’ve avoided Audible exclusives so everyone can access these titles through Libby, Hoopla, or Libro.fm.

anyone can spotlight any narrator they want at any time! 🫶

as always, please drop your suggestions below!

Men who are absolutely so down-bad pathetic for their women and canonicly would whimper in your ear

Books with ocean mysticism, pirates, mermaids, sirens, and every sea creature in between.

Covering a range of genres and sub-genres. Only adding the first book of each series.

Fantasy books with gods and goddesses

If you’re wanting to embark on a new journey this year, you’re in luck. Here are some new fantasy/romance series debuting this year.

Fantasy Romance and Romantasy are two different genres, but I enjoy them all the same. This list is full of books from both genres, ranging from YA to extra spicy. Recommendations always welcome!

Fantasy romance recommendations to try as a last attempt at making peace with romantasy. I want fantasy plots, developed worlds, capable characters, and relationships that feel earned, not just tropes wearing a corset and carrying a sword. These are the books I’m trying before I accept that maybe the genre and I simply aren’t meant to be.

Feel free to give any of your own Fanmance recs.

I do a lot of ARC reads (maybe too many) and I want to highlight some of my favourites! Complied here are favs that I rated 3 or higher.
