Recs if you like Of Blood and Fire...

I'm sure some of these are already on your TBR, so might as well add some more! Let me know if I am missing any of your favorites!

I know there are a couple other dragon lists out there, but a lot of them were missing some of my favourites, so I'm just making my own!

These books the dragons will play a significant role in the plot, even if the focus of the book isn't dragons themselves (like the Hobbit).

For books in a series, I'll only be adding the first one.

Feel free to drop suggestions! I'm trying to include all the dragon books I can.

A compendium of books featuring dragons

The top 100 fantasy novels according to the r/fantasy list as voted on by the community - this includes series (represented by the first book in the series) and standalones.

The list is in order with Middle Earth ( represented by Lord of the rings) being number 1 going down to the 100th.

(Note: Mistborn is position 8 while Cosmere is position 35 - as Mistborn is within the Cosmere I lumped it in with the 35th position so it is lower down than on the original list)

Epic journey's with dragons, sorrow, magic, and besties mixed in with a lil romance and well placed humor

Not all dragons are book worms, but they love a good story.

Books that have similar aesthetic, vibes, or plot elements to the Elder Scrolls Skyrim 🌌 for those longing for quests, mythology, and perhaps sometimes dragons 🐉

This is a not quite exhaustive list of notable fantasy works from the Tolkien era to pretty much today. In the case of series I have only included the first book. I know there are books I am missing so if you can see any let me know and I will add them. (Not necessarily in order of release date)
