Mason and Ainsley are older and more wise to the world, Ainsley and her family are getting closer once more however the past continues to lurk and it appears all those in Mason's orbit are aware of how hw feels about Ainsley apart from him and now is the time where he starts to think more about those around him as well as his future rather than solely focused on his work. Ainsley mean while becomes a stronger women and know what she wants in life and to that end Mason steps in to show her what it's like to date someone leading to them finally having to confront their feelings which are no longer "best friends", It is far from smooth sailing where mistakes are made, danger no one was aware of appears and the past gives one finally dig at trying to ruin it all.
