Recs if you like This Damsel Is Not in Distress...

Nothing better than a quick standalone romance between something long and serious 😏 In other words, if you’re already committed to six series but still need more excitement in your life 🤭

If you simply prefer to spend every night with another magical being that’s perfectly fine too 🤭💖

Romantasy standalones from YA to Dark Romance

A collection of adult fantasy romance with mature main characters. This list includes both standalones and the first book in series. Let me know if you have any recs!!

bodyguards, knights & royal guards

Shining a light on indie authors and the incredible books they write - for those who want to look beyond traditionally published books without compromising on quality, and support indie creators.

(For series, I have only listed the first book.)

Do you sometimes just want to wind down and forget about the world around you? Same! That's one of the great things about reading, it gives you the opportunity to live other lives and experience different things that you might not ever be able to in real life! But sometimes there will be heavy/depressing books that will be hard to get out of a slump from☹️. And that's what this list is for! These are low stakes, easy/comfortable reads that just let your emotions be for awhile. Enjoy! 😉

Romantasy books with main characters that are 25 years of age or older. Choose from fae, shifters, vampires, witches and more. Only the first book of a series is included unless it is a standalone book or novella in an interconnected series.
