Fiction to read when riding that Stranger Things high, with similar vibes, references or stories. Sometimes called the "kids on bikes" genre, this is a mix of small town horror, scifi and speculative fiction. Also the tie-in novels for Stranger Things itself, as that inspired this list.

This is one of my favourite movie genres so I thought I’d make a list for books!

What makes a house haunted? Ghosts? Grief? Bad decisions in the basement?

This list explores homes possessed by spirits, secrets, and sometimes just extremely questionable architecture. Some are literally haunted. Others are haunted by what happened inside them. Because sometimes it’s not the ghost. It’s the house.
