Going into this book you should know that it can be very triggering and is not going to be for most readers as it’s dark.

I’m not one to hate dub-con or non-con as I’ve read them previously but this one wasn’t a favorite of mine. Usually, in these books, the MC enjoys it at least a little bit or they have a lot of internal conflict about their feelings but that doesn’t really happen here. Macie doesn’t start to enjoy anything until basically the end and by that point, I didn’t feel like there was a lot of time to develop her relationship with the men into something else.

The book explored a lot of kinks as each of the men had a different one but I wasn’t super into any of them, it just sorta felt like something was missing. This could have been the lack of Macie’s mixed feelings to be completely honest.

I am a bit anxious to see how the relationships continue into the next book as this is a reverse harem however it seemed like one of the men claimed her for himself so I’d like to see where that goes. I honestly really liked the beginning of the book and the vibe she started forming with the men so I’m wondering how this will develop in the next book.

As I mentioned this book can be very triggering. I’ve read a decent amount of dark romances and while I didn’t dislike the sex scenes, I was thrown by the comments the men made when referring to what they were doing to Macie. For instance, talking about how they’ve done this to many women, I wasn’t a fan of that. However, if you’re a fan of dark romance and don’t mind the dub-con and non-con content, this might be one for you to check out.
