Recs if you like Sheets ...

I have spent years curating a list of graphic novels for myself on goodreads and I thought this place would be great to share it and share my love for graphic novels. I’m not picky about the plot or topics of the graphic novels I read so the list is pretty much any graphic novel I have heard of regardless of topic. Many are middle grade or young adult as is the general trend of the format but recommendations for more (especially adult) would be greatly appreciated.

Also manga is not included.

Books that feel like they could be adapted into a Studio Ghibli movie or have similar vibes to specific Ghibli films

Ah yes, this ol' issue that has plagued librarians and bookstore clerks for decades.

And sometimes you find the right book, but... can you even call that shade blue?

Graphic novels to cozy up with and read for fall and Halloween.

Here we have comics and graphic novels with the spookiest vibes: scary witches, cute ghosts, and even some curses... choose carefully 🎃🍬👻✨️

expanding my graphic novel literacy, one panel at a time (continually updating)

Ongoing. Fiction and non-fiction exploration of grief: anticipatory, grieving death of a loved one (including pets), loosing pregnancy, etc, and how to live with it.

If soup and tea and a fire and a blanket with family on a crisp autumn night or lemonade and a meadow and a picnic blanket on a early summer day was a book

Please send me recommendations :)
