Despite the excellent narration, this one was paced a little slowly to be called a page turner. That is not to say it wasn't very much enjoyable - I really liked getting to know the protagonist more and watching him heal and engage with community and friends. As ever, the political, religious, social and cultural worldbuilding was unique and tangible. A thoroughly great read.
