This book has serious Romancing the stone/The Mummy vibes.
There’s a list city in a jungle that an archeologist is taking an expedition to find. The photographer is not who he would have chosen because she’s way too hot for all the me to concentrate.
He’s grumpy because he has a job to do and she is distracting. She is not about to cower and hide from the asshat in charge.
There’s a temple, bad guys, running for their lives, a one man tent, and other adventure.
My only complaint is that it’s closed door.
