Working for a notorious mob boss like Anthony Costello for fifteen years has taught me a thing or two about dangerous men. I myself have been chiseled and beaten into someone to be reckoned with. And I’ve even come to relish in the pain, to crave it. But no one gets under my skin quite like Luca Rossi, Anthony’s right-hand man. I hate him more than words can express, I always have. He torments me and toys with me, just a plaything in his twisted and cruel game of control, until I’m feral with rage and barely able to contain myself. But when a series of unidentified bodies begin showing up on our property and it becomes clear someone is trying to take the Costello family down, Luca and I are teamed up to solve the mystery. And working up close and personal with this man has me realizing that there’s no one in the world quite as dangerous to me as him. Because the real reason I hate Luca so much, and maybe even the reason why I hate myself, is because he’ll never really want me.

I love Cora Rose and her books. Her writing is always so entertaining and I adore the characters she brings to life and His Enforcer did not disappoint.
I love a good taboo/MM dark mafia romance and Viktor and Luca’s story was addicting. Their passion for each other was hot and intense. Their connection and chemistry was strong. They connected together because of their trauma. They both went through horrifying things in their childhood. Viktor has had a crush on Luca for fifteen years, and it gets harder and harder to ignore the longer he denies his feelings for his boss.
The spice in this book was on another level, it wasn’t just about the sex between them. The way they kept trying deny how they feel for each other made their spicy scenes so much more intense. They know how to bring the heat to the bedroom and Cora Rose wrote those scenes perfectly.
Overall, I really loved Viktor and Luca together. This book definitely surprised me by how much I loved it and I will definitely read the other two books in this series. Thank you to the author for sending me and ARC to read and review. This book will release on February 28, 2025.
