Jozi is starting a new job. Initially, she has been corresponding with her boss via email, but then when he arrives, she finds him rude and abrasive. They do not get along at all. Boss Ian is grumpy and just wants things done a certain way (he has reasons for being short with Jozi, not that she knows what they are). Jozi isn't sure that she wants to stay in the job, but after a talk with her mother, she decides to stay. She starts to push back against Ian a little bit and sparks fly between the two. Ian has been interested in Jozi for a while but wasn't sure what to do with his feelings. Things heat up between them, but there are secrets that threaten to end them forever.
