This takes place 5 years after the previous book, which I wasn't happy about because it felt like we missed a lot of the lives of characters we'd gotten a chance to know.
Simone was fun, I liked that she was an undercover cop, that was spunky and great to see a strong female lead.
Her feelings were too insta-love for me. She did a 180 suddenly deciding maybe love was what she wanted. I know she was probably in love with him her whole life, and her body seems to realize that way before her mind does, but the declaration/realization was too abrupt for me (and I think happened around 50%).
Roscoe was an interesting character, with his memory being different--haven't read another character with this kind of memory before. That being said, I didn't really care about Roscoe? He seemed too "soulful" to me I can't put my finger on my problem with him, just was ambivalent.
