A weekend fauxmance at a destination ski-resort wedding becomes a swoony challenge to keep the ruse going in a spicy-sweet short story by USA Today bestselling author Lana Ferguson. There’s no way Emma is showing up at her sister’s over-the-top winter wedding without a hot plus-one—especially when her ex is one of the groomsmen. The first person she turns to when she needs backup is always her best friend from college, Cole. And he’s game to fake it. After all, what are friends for? But one hotel room (and one bed) could turn a simple stunt to save face into something much more complicated. Lana Ferguson’s The Plus-One Pact is part of All I Want for Christmas, holiday stories of winter wonderland weddings to warm the heart. Curl up and read or listen to each in a single dreamy sitting.
