This is technically the second book in a series but written in a way that you don’t have to read the first. It can help but it’s not needed. Again this was very religion heavy as the first which works for the story but not my favourite thing in horror books. I was confused as to why certain things were happening but it was spooky and I did enjoy it more than the first one.
