Recs if you like The Arcane Arts: A Novel...

Just a list of books coming out in 2026 that I’m really excited for :) it will be updated as the months go by! It will be a mix of: high fantasy, romance fantasy, sci-fi, gothic, horror, lit fic, historical fiction, retellings, poetry, romance, & more!!

Not all of these books will have cannibalism... but there is a non-zero chance at least 1% will.

Books for when you want to induce autumn vibes regardless of the time of year. Purely vibes/atmosphere based so not all recs will be “spooky” or autumnal, it’s more the aura they give off - think dark academia, dark fantasy, some classics, southern gothic, etc.

It could be the middle of summer and yet reading these make you feel like it’s raining outside, the windows are fogged up, you have a spiced pumpkin candle going, and Coraline on in the background🤎

We all love this category and it never gets old.
