Enjoyment: Quality: Characters: Plot:

USA Today Bestselling Author Claudia Burgoa delivers an emotional, slow-burn, friends-to-lovers, fake relationship, accidental pregnancy romance you don’t want to miss. Sometimes you have to stop planning and live in the moment. What do you do when your grandma wants to set you up on a date? You fake it. Simple. At least, that’s what I thought ten years ago. It was a little lie: I’m dating Heathcliff Spearman. Tall, dark, and incredibly handsome Heath Spearman. My best friend. I never thought things would get out of hand. But things snowballed, and my grandparents think he’s my fiancé. Oops! They say some moments can change your life forever. Five happened to me in less than two months. 1. My grandparents threaten to visit me. 2. Heath offers to play the role of my fake fiancé. 3. We kiss—the kind of kiss that takes your breath away. 4. The lines between us blur. We go from friends to friends-with-benefits. 5. The word positive appears on the pregnancy test. I’m positively screwed. Have I mentioned Heath doesn’t want children or a family? Oh, and of course, my grandparents caught the lie… What am I supposed to do now?

Heath and Atzi are like tortured souls, they have known each other forever and are in love with each other but neither will show any indication of it until now as Heath is due to move away and a white lie that Atzi told years ago that is about to bite her in the backside. There are plenty of laughs not only getting to meet these to but also from the familiar friends we met in previous books, but also anxiety, frustrations and angst that there are times I felt like I needed a wee break hahahaha. These two have baggage from their past that they need to work through in order to finally let go of what holding them back from being their true self and living life as well as a chance to be with each other .... which also leads to times I wanted to shake sense into these two and Heaths mother well that women has cooked her goose with the family and needs to be locked up and away from everyone.

Heath and Atzi have been friends since they met attending grief camp. His mother had died and she was the only survivor of an accident that killed her parents and her sister. They do everything together and are good friends. Of course, they both have very strong feelings for each other, but they've never let the other know. When Atzi's grandparents are coming to visit, she's forced to confess she's been lying: they think Heath is her boyfriend/fiancé. Luckily, Heath agrees to play along. But soon, they aren't playing anymore. Can Heath help Atzi see past her distrust of love? Or since he's leaving to take a fellowship anyway, is it over for good?
