Kelsey has been on her own for over a year. The zombie apocalypse has taken everyone she cared about. Then one night some guys end up through her fence. I really liked Kelsey. We really feel how alone she is and the dark places she has gone in her head after all that time. The guys are interesting. I love how Kelsey just knocks them off their feet. They are all a little, or a lot, broken after surviving the zombies, but they all just work together. Honestly, The blurb gave me mixed feelings, the first part drew me in, but the last part was kind of blah. But I’m so glad I decided to read it. This story has me laugh, cringing along with Kelsey at her awkwardness, and even shedding a few tears with the characters. I can’t wait to read more from this author.
