Est-ce que j'aurais dû commencer par le tome 1 ? Sans doute. Est-ce que c'est ce que j'ai fait ? Bien sûr que non, mais c'est le seul de la série avec des lesbiennes donc forcément j'ai commencé par là. Du coups je ne comprends pas tout mais OSEF. Franchement, c'était rapide, sympa à lire avec un happy ending donc l'un dans l'autre je suis satisfaite de ma lecture. Est-ce que je suis déçue que cette nouvelle ne soit pas annonciatrice d'une trilogie focalisée sur elles deux et leurs challenges pour s'élever au plus au rang, tant parmi les politiciennes que les mages ? Maybe so, yeah. mais je me contenterai de lire les autres tomes de la série pour les apercevoir. Peut-être. Si j'y pense.

While I did enjoy this book, it was clear that you need knowledge of the series to be able to understand everything that's going on entirely. I very much enjoyed the representation happening in this book. The biggest issue that threw me off was that there seemed to be a lot of people thrown at you at the beginning making it kind of hard to follow who was who. Again, if I had read the rest of the series, it may not have been as confusing. I think I'm going to pick up the other books to see what happens.
0I love this world and I can’t wait for more adventures with this crew. I really like Juliana and Caroline’s relationship and this novella did a great job showcasing their love for each other.
