Padawan Reath Silas is being sent from the cosmopolitan galactic capital of Coruscant to the undeveloped frontier—and he couldn’t be less happy about it. He’d rather stay at the Jedi Temple, studying the archives. But when the ship he’s traveling on is knocked out of hyperspace in a galactic-wide disaster, Reath finds himself at the center of the action. The Jedi and their traveling companions find refuge on what appears to be an abandoned space station. But then strange things start happening, leading the Jedi to investigate the truth behind the mysterious station, a truth that could end in tragedy….

3.5 out of 5 stars so I will be generous and round up to a 4.

The story and plot was decent nothing spectacular, but fun anyways. I enjoyed all the characters, mostly Reath though, he was just so darn likable and adorable.

I was actually way more invested in the Jedi's portion of the story as there are two story lines going on, one involving the Jedi obviously and the other following Affie a regular girl who is discovering deep secrets about her foster mothers business. Her portion of the story was honestly so boring and I just did not care what was going on with her, she and her whole arc could have been cut and I feel like I wouldn't have missed out on anything important.

One of the biggest aspects I liked was the variety in Jedi we got who all questioned the Jedi council and the Jedi way. There have always been aspects that bothered me so to see Jedi themselves questioning it was enjoyable for me.

Other than that it was just simple, easy to follow and kept me entertained.
