    The premise is interesting-why do superheroes get to run around, leave messes, collateral damage, etc? But The Boys was not interesting. A world where the top crime fighters, people who you think keep you safe (and are mostly male) are actually sexual assaulters, murderers, and their worst characteristic: gay?? Like wow, I can't imagine a world like that....
    I'm not even mad at the shock value (gore, sex) except when it doesn't add anything to the story. Shock can only last so long.
    To be fair, I am not the target audience for a storyline that mainly deals with homophobia and explaining that gay people are people too and you shouldn't hate them for no reason.
    The illustration was good. Maybe I'll try Preacher.
