Rockstar Silas Ford has never had to beg women to spend time with him. But when he meets Marley Cole and then sees her at a party he's hosting at his house, he's intrigued by her. She's different than any other woman he's been around: she's sweet, demure, polite. Marley grew up in the church and her father is a pastor. When Marley shows back up his house and tells him she's pregnant, he really doesn't recognize her because she is dressed the way she normally would be. Once they start spending time together, Marley really changes Silas' outlook on the world. He starts to believe that they might really be able to have a relationship and he is certain that they both love each other, even though she never says it out loud. When they are faced with tragedy, will they be able to stay together?

I loved Marley from the beginning of this story, even though she was naive and let her parents push her into things. Silas took a little longer to grow on me. He was intriguing from the beginning simply because I wanted to see him be "redeemed". But he was absolutely the winner in the swoony romance department even though he didn't have a role model for it. He wasn't afraid to just go for it and show Marley all the love he had in his heart even when he didn't have the words.
