Basically, a huge list of every book I ever heard features sapphic characters.

I have not read all of these, so I cannot be sure of the amount of the time on page of the sapphic characters or of the quality of the books.

Some of these I do not plan to read at all, since they are not my style. If you feel like a book doesn't belong here, let me know.

I wanted to join the fun in doing an alphabet challenge and am currently adding X and Z to complete my alphabet of books :) Here’s some recommendations if others want a similar challenge!

When you’re struggling to find your next book to read sometimes an anthology is the perfect answer. Whether it’s the variety of stories or trying to discover a new author, anthologies can bridge the gap between novels.

From sci-fi or horror to literature or mystery, prose, poetry or essays, this list of anthologies has it all.

I tried to cover as many genres and subjects as I could but, as always recommendations are encouraged (especially in romance/romantasy)

horror novels published in canada with a particular emphasis on Indigenous authors and indie press publications! I'm currently in a publishing program learning about how in danger the canadian publishing industry is and how rarely book reading in canada actually highlights our own authors so one could say this list is a cope and an attempt to add that to ways i'm diversifying my reading. obv disclaimer that canada is. yikes. but this is in the context of mainly american books being platformed

Books set in the Pacific Northwest

A highlight of some of the titles coming from Canadian authors, presses, and publishing houses! Based mostly on people and books I’ve seen at literary events in Ontario that I’ve read or want to read, with a mix of novels, short stories, poetry, and more.
