a range of influential and evocative poetry collections from Black queer poets throughout time

Poetry written by Black and/or African writers! Emphasis on intersectionality.

I wanted to join the fun in doing an alphabet challenge and am currently adding X and Z to complete my alphabet of books :) Here’s some recommendations if others want a similar challenge!

dive into some* of the most influential queer poets. read one poem at a time, devour whole collections, whatever. just approach openly and leave changed

*please request additions!!

A combination of classic and modern poetry from across Turtle Island (North America)🐢

Always open for recommendations!
