Spoilers for those who haven't read volume 1
That's probably enough warning at least. So after the events of volume 1, Led Dent returns to Los Angeles, minus his better half. But things aren't all hunky dory. Despite having gotten the job done and made his return back to drugs and VR, a remnant of the past is set to come back and haunt him. The ghost of Tokyo intends to make Led and his bosses pay for what he's done and things go completely crazy.
I honestly don't know if this was better or worse than the first one. I'm inclined to say worse mostly because now it doesn't have the interesting relationship of the first one. Though I did really like Debbie as the vengeful Tokyo Ghost, so it's hard to say. If you liked the first one, this brings the series to an explosive conclusion that will appeal to anyone who likes the dangers of technology theme. If you disliked the first one as much as I did and were hoping for something better, you'll probably be disappointed.
