Jaden and Briana were together, but then through pride and misunderstanding, they ended up apart. They try to get back together, but there are so many obstacles in their way - the past, trauma, abuse, other people. This is a dark story about realizing what you have and making sure to hold onto it.
I appreciated how the characters dealt with their past trauma and abuse, but sometimes they were fip flopping in the same part of the story. Most of the time the reactions were appropriate, but they were harder to follow. I did enjoy the story and how the issues were resolved, though.
