This is a new-to-me author I’ve been meaning to get to for a long time. I picked up this particular book because of a recommendation for the second book in the series. While I don’t doubt I’ll enjoy the book that was recommended when I read it next, I love the MFC in this book so much! Not only is she the youngest of three sisters, she views herself as the odd one out. Her sisters are extremely protective, which holds her back in many ways. As much as she loves her sisters, their fussing plus her inferiority complex make things hard on her.

There isn’t a whole lot of character development for the twins, Marcus and Jace. Honestly, I didn’t miss it much since I connected so well with Devi. Jace and Marcus have something traumatic in their past, but it’s revealed late in the book at a point where I didn’t feel I needed the information any longer. That’s not to say I didn’t like the MMCs, because I did. They both brought something to the table and together filled needs Devi didn’t even know she had.

The spice factor is high in this story, it is a M/F/M menage story after all. But it wasn’t as off the charts as I expected. There’s a pretty good mix of story and sex that keeps things flowing.

As far as I can tell, this is one of this author’s earlier works. It’s well-written as it is, but could use some polish. Yet it still leads me to believe, that if she grew as an author as most do, her later books will be phenomenal.
