Recs if you like I Want My Hat Back...

perfect for bedtime or otherwise, timeless stories, gorgeous illustrations

The BBC’s 100 Greatest Children’s Books of All Time as published in May 2023.

Picture books that I think everyone should read once in their lifetime with some books being thoughtful, artistically breathtaking, funny or left a lasting impact on me

It can be funny, or heartwarming, or just pretty 💝 Breaking the stereotype that picture books are only for children, people of all ages can enjoy them too! I like to use picture books to get out a reading slump, and they’re a great choice when all you’re in the mood for is a bit of light reading. Only picture books marketed for children are included in this list

just a few of my faves, some are old and some are new
