Recs if you like My Happy Days In Hell...

A collection of Hungarian books that have been published in English. I'm prioritizing the ones I think are especially good 😄 But open to suggestions. Also adding our Nobel winners, both of them.

Inspired by The Office. Named after Pam, Oscar and Toby’s exclusive book club - they gather once a month to “discuss books, art and celebrate culture in a very civilized way”. These are some ideas to use to recreate it with your friends, have food and drinks attuned to the book or the writer’s culture.

Since I already have a List for women, I wanted to make one for men's memoirs and (auto)biographies - specifically books I think are fascinating, little known, and need more attention. Some of these men might be role models, but that's not really the point: most just had interesting lives, or lived in interesting times. Suggestions welcome.
