Recs if you like Black and British: A Forgotten History...

Books to fill the gaping voids made by our school systems.

Examining concepts of race, class, culture, ethnicity, colourism, separatism, belonging, supremacy, identity, & the effects of British colonialism.

Some books have these themes incidentally, but in most they are the core focus.

most of these are recommendations from many of my final year modules of my history degree which focused mostly on Asian and British History and histories of migration with a post-colonial, socio-cultural approach. some are also just history books that’s I think everyone should read

Genealogical resources for those interested in discovery their place in the African diaspora.

WWI as represented by historians looking back on events. Please feel free to recommend any good histories you know - whether the focus is a particular topic (eg. medicine), person, front, or battle. I have not read all of these books - if any are particularly poor or unsuitable, please let me know so I may remove them.
