Maddie has broken off her engagement and she and her friend decide that they are going to go on a vacation to a tropical resort. There Maddie meets Chase who is the CEO of the resort. He manages to convince her since they along so well to pretend that she is his girlfriend/fiancé to meet with his parents (thus the 21 nights). Watching these two "pretending" they are in a relationship while they are both pining for a real relationship was really sweet, but there is also a lot of suspense here too, which was unexpected. I don't want to spoil too much of that story, but it made this one a real page turner!
