Recs if you like Tortall and Other Lands: A Collection of Tales...

The top 100 fantasy novels according to the r/fantasy list as voted on by the community - this includes series (represented by the first book in the series) and standalones.

The list is in order with Middle Earth ( represented by Lord of the rings) being number 1 going down to the 100th.

(Note: Mistborn is position 8 while Cosmere is position 35 - as Mistborn is within the Cosmere I lumped it in with the 35th position so it is lower down than on the original list)

Each set of 2-4 books follows a particular character with appearances of familiar faces from other books, but these series don't have to be read in order of publication to be enjoyed. Highly recommend First Test or Terrier as fun starting points!

Tamora Pierce's Tortall series, and associated works. Let's explore all the land has to offer. All books in English, where possible graphic novels are included. Includes: Beka's quartet, Alanna's Lioness quartet, Daine's Immortals quartet, Kel's Protector of the Small quartet, Numair's books (still in progress), Aly's Trickster duology and short stories.

One of the most underrated authors I’ve ever read.

Explore the Tortall universe, home of many of Tamora Pierce’s famous heroines. Follow Alanna, Daine, Kel, Ali, and Beka (and now Numair)!
