Pretending to be my boss's fake fiancé was supposed to be a temporary gig, but falling for him turns out to be a permanent position. As the personal assistant of Mr. Grumpy Silverfox Bosshole, I'm used to being at his beck and call. Bossy, arrogant and vacation stingy, Caleb Webster is the last person on Earth I want to spend more time with. When I'm late to my cousin's wedding and discover my sister is there with her new fiancé, I'm desperate to save face. After asking the whole city to pretend to be my fiancé, the only one who agrees is… you’ve guessed it: Caleb freakin’ Webster. He only agrees to play along if I promise to be his maid for two months. But as we spend time pretending, I can't deny the chemistry between us. The best part about playing fake fiancé has to be the practice fake kisses, And fake sleeping together… But the real kicker? My feelings for him and this plus sign on my pregnancy test. Who knew pretending could be so real?

April finds herself in need of a fake fiancé after she got in an argument with her sister and spit out that she actually had one. The thing is, April is a hot mess 90% of the time, so finding someone willing to pretend to be her fiancé turns out to be a challenge. The only person willing to help is her billionaire boss, Caleb. Of course, he's not going to go along willingly - he's going to want some things from her too!
The characters really made this story for me. April is so funny and endearing. She's really trying to not be a screw-up, it just sort of happens to her. And Caleb isn't as grumpy as he pretends to be, but sometimes he is really frustrating!.
