Backlist Exploration: Ilona Andrews

So you read This Kingdom Will Not Kill Me by wife-and-husband writing duo Ilona Andrews and loved it, but you're not sure where to start exploring their extensive backlist? Never fear! Here are 5 series entry points so you can get your fix while we all wait for the next Maggie book! I pinned a comment with a little blurb about each book so you have an idea of the vibes of each series. And if you end up enjoying Andrews' novels, make sure to check out that backlist link because Ilona and Gordon write a lot of supplemental short fiction which they share for free on their website!

I love to reread all of these series, so feel free to comment here if you ever want someone to buddy read any of these with! I love to experience them alongside new fans :D

📣 A Series of Standalones 📣

by BookFinder

37 books

A hodge podge collection from different genres of series that are interconnected standalones. In this list, you'll only find the first book that introduce each series. Books in interconnected standalones usually have contained stories but share lore throughout the series or might have an overarching plot that is shared by the characters in each book. Do recommend any you can think of as I want to max out the 100 book capacity allowed here.
