A series of books where Disney films didn't go quite the way we remember

There are so many books that take familiar Disney characters and give a little more. From standalones to series, I'm hoping to catch as many as I can!

Are you getting recommended the same fantasy books over and over? All of these books are over a year old and finished by less than 1000 people on PB. (YA and Adult, standalones and first books in a series)

books that take inspiration from or are direct retellings of the classics, fairytales, myths, and legends.

Books inspired by Disney, or published by Disney imprints

Fairytale Retellings!!!

Please make this a good, safe, and healthy environment. Do your best to not give away spoilers unless you make sure they will be announced at the beginning of your comment before they are listed! No bullying, harassment, or anything mean! All humans are made in the image of God!✝️🫶

My favorite retellings and reimaginings. Leave more recs below!

What happens after happily ever after? or what if…?

All of the above is on this list! These are all titles and people I can't get enough of. SO these are my recs
