Recs if you like The Mirror Stage as Formative of the Function of the I as Revealed in Psychoanalytic Experience...

A list of psychoanalytic theory books, from Freud to Kristeva, Butler to Leader.

The list specifically focuses on psychoanalysis in relation to interpreting literature, the arts, and culture, not actual psychology.

I don't endorse (nor am I an expert in) all the views presented, but it's an interesting niche of theory which has a great influence on culture.

Includes books from 50 Psychology Classics by Tom Butler-Bowdon and others.
