Pre-Information Age Transgressive Literature
Transgressive, perverted, depraved, debased writings from before the Information Age ~1967.
At times disgusting, ecstatic, abhorrent, funny, erotic, evil. Occasionally, actually way less shocking than the reaction from the time of their initial publication suggested.
Seek content warnings. I havenโt read them all and many I regret having in my brain. But I think theyโre all intriguing, maybe not all important but they offer us a different view of the past.
Suggestions welcome!

Lascivious French Lit
The French are well-known for their philosophical and off-kilter (to put it nicely) notions of sex. Do you want to like sex? Do you want it to feel repulsive? Do you want to examine it clinically? Or do you just want brain-rot? Do you like your smut good or gross? Come one, come all! The French have it all! (Includes inspired works from french philosophy also)
