Although I really liked this book (a continuation of book 1, Room for You) and still adore Kacie and Brody, I had to knock my rating down to 3 stars. Kacie just drove me nuts with her secrecy throughout the majority of this book. I know she had her reasons, which were actually good reasons, but c'mon! You can only make excuses for withholding important information for so long.

It was great to actually get to understand the reasons Kacie's ex left. And, having a sister and ex-brother-in-law that are a great model for how to co-parent when not together, I loved the direction the relationship between Kacie, Zach and Brody was heading. I guess I just wish the reveal had come sooner and we could have delved deeper into that part of the story.

Next is a shorter novella type book so I'm hoping for a bit more happiness and a tad less angst.
