Rock stars do more than break records…they break hearts. Claire To everyone else, Dylan Graves is this cool, sexy rock star—and not just because of his British accent. But to me he’ll always be the law student who swept me off my feet my semester in London. The biggest lesson I learned that semester? Not to get mixed up with him again. But to take my career to the next level I need to show the world what I’m capable of. And no one else has given me a better chance than the man better than anyone at breaking my heart. Dylan Six years. That’s how long I’ve lived with a constant hum of anxiety under my skin. The uncertainty of knowing where I stand with Claire. She might have agreed to work with me again, but I want more. I want her to open herself up to the fire that once threatened to consume us. But she’s the one who could decide at any moment that it’s not worth it. I lost her once because I couldn’t answer one simple question. This time I’m going to tell her the truth and hope like hell it’s enough. Because losing her again, I’m not only risking my heart, but my soul as well. Keeping the Beat is the third book in the Heart Beats series. If you like second chance romance between a hot British rock star and the one who got away, you don’t want to miss the undeniable chemistry between Dylan and Claire.

Rock star Dylan Graves has it all. Or so you'd think. And he does have everything except the one girl he cannot forget. He is trying to convince Clare Scheffer to direct his next music video. That'd be great except for one thing -- Clare hates Dylan because he broke her heart many years ago when he was just a law school student. Can Dylan convince Clare to not only direct his video but also give a relationship with him a second chance?
I loved both of these characters. Clare was strong and she wasn't just going to swoon and fall for whatever Dylan was trying to tell her or get her to do. She did flip-flop a lot and sometimes I was like, girl, just make a decision and stick to it! And Dylan was determined to get her to say yes more than no, but he was honest about what he was doing and why.
