Until Her (Stories from Beauville, #2)

Tigris Eden

Enjoyment: Quality: Characters: Plot:

There is always a light at the end of every dark tunnel. But who ever analyzes the journey to get there? There are doors leading to different outcomes, Windows slightly ajar, offering other paths, and cracks in the wall alluding to the outer arena called life. Jackson’s been through it all. Highs. Lows. Twists. Turns. But he'll always remember her. He'll fight for her. Almost die for her. Walk through hell and back for her. Because until her, there was no him. Betrayal and new faces all come together as Jackson Storme and Annabelle Macon's story concludes in Until Her, a southern contemporary filled with ups and downs, rights and wrongs, and finally, their happily ever after. By now, we’ve seen Jackson and Annabelle go through some stuff.. In this book, they’re done with the angsty part of their relationship, they’ve each embraced their love for the other but they have new challenges to face. I don’t want to spoil Book 2 from you, but if you’ve read it, you know what I’m talking about. Anna has her work cut out for her on one front and Jackson does on another.

This book is full of the larger-than-life characters we’ve already come to love in this series. Anna’s cousins are just as funny and high-strung as always and Jackson’s exes are still popping up everywhere—and I mean EVERYwhere—and they’re rather bold about it too.

The editing is good! The first two books in this series had some issues, but I see no issues in this one and the change is refreshing. (I normally won’t even read books with editing issues, but this series sucked me in that much!) I couldn’t help but appreciate the smooth, easy-to-read, distraction-less experience I had with this book.

It’s got all the makings of a fun escape: action, heat, drama, humor, a tropical getaway, some crazy … seriously, do yourself a favor and check this series out.

Eden really has a way with character development; Jackson is an alpha male, but just soft enough where he needs to be. He and Anna’s love is deep and fierce and you’d have to be dead to not feel or at least comprehend it yourself. Eden manages to paint it infectiously.

She also manages to keep it real: real crazy, real drama and real talk among friends. Makes it all easier to get lost in this series.

We finally get to see what happens with Anna and Jackson and Eden left us with a promise for India and Rudy’s story!

Cannot wait for more from Beauville!
